Saturday 4 September 2004 was the day of Tristan's first show outing since arriving in Australia
It was a cool and changeable Tasmanian spring day for the Brighton Kennel Club show. The first picture shows Tristan waiting for his turn in the ring. He is held by Mary with Vanessa Hynes sitting near by. Jane Guy another Tasmanian IG enthusiast is admiring him with Tristan staring back at her.
It was not too long before his wait was over and Tristan was on the table being examined by the judge Mr Ken Hodge (NSW)
Then it was time to "strut his stuff" showing off his movement.
Mr Hodge was obviously pleased with what he saw as Tristan was placed Best in Group (Group 1st), a fine start to his show career in Australia.
